What We Expect of You

Duties

- Design, implement and maintain complex PL/SQL scripts, packages and functions for mission-critical applications; perform data modelling and schema design.

- Lead performance tuning of queries and PL/SQL code; conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.

- Collaborate with architects and DBAs to optimize database structures and ensure scalability and reliability.

- Support data integration and ETL processes; mentor junior developers and contribute to technical roadmaps.

- Ensure compliance with best practices for security, auditing and documentation; participate in on-call support as needed.

Competencies

- 5+ years of hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development experience, including performance tuning and data modelling.

- Deep understanding of Oracle database internals and advanced PL/SQL constructs (ref cursors, bulk processing, collections).

- Experience with ETL tools (e.g. DataStage) and data warehousing concepts.

- Required certifications: Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Professional (OCP) or higher. Candidates with Oracle Database 12c Administrator Certified Professional or Oracle Database 12c Performance Management & Tuning certifications receive extra consideration.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; capable of leading project phases and communicating with diverse stakeholders.

- Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

- Work experience: 5+ years in PL/SQL development, including leadership or mentoring responsibilities.

- Language: Proficient in English; knowledge of Polish/Russian is advantageous.
