SAP FI/CO Consultant

What We Expect of You

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Implementation:

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FI/CO modules (including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders).
• Translate complex business requirements into effective SAP solutions aligned with best practices.
• Integrate FI/CO with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and HR.
• Manage end-to-end project activities including blueprinting, realization, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

Financial Process Optimization:

• Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements leveraging SAP S/4HANA Finance innovations.
• Design and implement automation and reporting enhancements to streamline financial operations.
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting standards, IFRS, and local statutory requirements.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Collaborate with finance, controlling, and IT teams to define and deliver high-value solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders on finance transformation initiatives.
• Coordinate with ABAP developers for custom enhancements and reports.

System Maintenance & Support

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex functional issues in SAP FI/CO.
• Provide expert-level production support and ensure system stability and performance.
• Document functional designs, configuration settings, and test results.

Leadership & Knowledge Sharing:

• Stay updated on SAP S/4HANA Finance trends, new functionalities, and industry best practices.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP FI/CO experience, including at least 2-3 full-cycle implementations and S/4HANA Finance exposure.

Technical/Functional Expertise:

• Deep understanding of SAP FI submodules: GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, and Financial Closing.
• Strong knowledge of SAP CO submodules: Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and COPA.
• Experience with integration points between FI/CO and other SAP modules.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps for Finance and new asset accounting functionalities.
• Understanding of Group Reporting, Central Finance, or Treasury Management is an advantage.
