Duties
- Install, configure and maintain Oracle databases; assist with upgrades and patching.
- Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies using tools like AWR/ASH; collaborate with developers to optimize queries.
- Implement backup, recovery and security policies; maintain RMAN scripts and Data Pump jobs.
- Keep database documentation up to date (data models, operational procedures, deployment guides).
- Participate in audits and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
Competencies
- 2-4 years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience, including high-availability configuration and patching.
- Solid understanding of Oracle architecture; able to tune SQL/PL-SQL and use tools like RMAN and Data Pump.
- Familiarity with RAC/ASM, Data Guard or Exadata is a plus.
- Certification: Oracle Database 12c Administrator Certified Associate (or 11g OCA) required; Oracle Database 12c Administrator Certified Professional preferred. Candidates with Oracle Certified Expert (RAC and Grid Infrastructure) or Performance Management & Tuning certificates are highly regarded.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills; comfortable working with developers and business users.

- Language: English (B1 or above) required; Polish/Russian an advantage.
