Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for SAP FI modules (GL, AR, AP, AA, Banking).
- Handle incident and problem management including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of issues within agreed SLAs.
- Manage minor enhancements, configuration changes, and functional updates to existing ECC FI processes.
- Act as the bridge between business users and technical teams, translating requirements into technical solutions.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring smooth operations.
- Collaborate with CO and other SAP module teams (MM, SD, HR) to resolve cross-module integration issues.
- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments, work closely with ABAP developers, and perform functional testing.
- Document support procedures, issue resolutions, and knowledge base articles for internal use.
- Monitor system performance and participate in periodic system health checks.
- Ensure SAP compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
- Support upcoming projects such as system upgrades, migrations, or S/4HANA readiness assessments as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FI (ECC 6.0) support and configuration.
- Deep understanding of core FI processes including Financial Accounting, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Bank Accounting.
- Solid grasp of integration with CO, MM, and SD modules.
- Experience with SAP OSS notes, user exits, and debugging is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical teams and non-technical users.
- Experience in ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy, JIRA) and change management processes.
- Prior involvement in SAP ECC rollouts, upgrades, or enhancement projects is desirable.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of SAP New GL, VAT reporting, and localization settings.
- Experience with S/4HANA FI migration or assessment.
- Familiarity with Fiori apps, IDoc processing, or interface troubleshooting.
- Exposure to automation or RPA tools integrated with SAP FI.
