What We Expect of You

Go Developer

We are looking for an experienced Go Developer to join our international team and collaborate closely with IBA's client. Our customer is a global mobility and urban services platform that provides transportation and related digital services worldwide.

The project focuses on a branding management platform that supports the entire branding lifecycle, including verification processes and quality assurance. The technology stack includes Go, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and CI/CD solutions.

Competencies:

Expert-level Go, including advanced language features such as generics, reflection, unsafe, and custom synchronization primitives.
At least 4 years of commercial backend engineering experience in high-load environments.
Proven experience in product-led environments and a proven track record of building and scaling high-load distributed systems.
Strong SQL knowledge, including schema design, replication, partitioning, sharding, and query optimization.
Deep understanding of Redis data structures and their efficient use in high-load systems.
Experience with synchronous and asynchronous service communication patterns including gRPC and message brokers.
Strong knowledge of microservice architecture patterns and client-server communication.
Hand-on experience with Docker, CI/CD, Kubernetes (or equivalent), and cloud infrastructure.
Ability to write maintainable, testable code with solid unit and integration test coverage.
English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice to Have:

Experience designing and implementing observability strategies, including metrics, logging, dashboards, and distributed tracing.
Strong knowledge of Git and modern development workflows.
Experience with project management and collaboration tools.
Interest in emerging technologies and continuous professional development.
Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools.
Experience optimizing Go service performance using profiling tools.
Exposure to design collaboration tools and cross-platform workflows.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and code reviews.

Project Description

Duties:

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reliable backend services.
Lead technical research, architecture design, and implementation of backend services and new features.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective technical solutions.
Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions while promoting engineering best practices.
Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code.
Own the full lifecycle of backend services, including deployment, monitoring, and production support.
Implement and maintain observability infrastructure, including metrics, logging, dashboards, and tracing.
Mentor engineers and contribute to the technical growth of the team.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including discovery, refinement, decomposition, sprint planning, and demonstrations
