What We Expect of You

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as an SAP Consultant
  • 2 years of professional working experience as an SAP Basis consultant
  • Must have strong Basis experience (low-level technical activities like installation, copying, migrations, configuration and tweaking performance)
  • Must have strong HANA experience (certification, performance and tuning, migrations, backup and recovery, DR setup, HANA studio and HANA cockpit)
  • Higher education diploma
  • English on a communicative level
  • Legal work permit in Poland

Good asset:

  • Should have knowledge of additional databases, at least one (Oracle, Sybase, MS-SQL, DB2);
  • Should have working knowledge of OS administration for SAP purposes (Windows and/or Linux))
  • Working with a Cloud environment

Personality requirements:

  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Strong verbal, written, organizational, and technical documentation skills
  • Ability to provide accurate and realistic effort estimates, commit and deliver accordingly
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills; creative thinking.
Project Description

We are looking for an SAP Basis Migration Consultant to join our Team and work with IBA strategic clients. As the SAP Basis Migration Consultant, you will contribute to the success of our customer projects and participate in SAP Systems Migration projects for our clients.

 

Main tasks & responsibilities:

  • SAP Systems Migration projects (migration to another OS, DB, data center, etc.)
  • Working with the SAP basis team and reporting to Project Manager
  • Working independently on SAP migrations
  • SAP migrations projects using SAP tools SWPM and different methods of migration
  • SAP installations and migrations using Windows Server and UNIX OS working knowledge
  • Any Two Database working knowledge (Oracle/MS-SQL/DB2/Sybase/SAP HANA)
  • Performance, tuning, backup, recovery, upgrade, update, and HSR on the HANA database
  • DR setup with HANA and working on the HANA database in a clustered and high-availability environment
  • Migrating the HANA database on different hardware platforms
